Setting Your Scheduling Link
Your scheduling link (Calendly, Cal.com, or any booking URL) lets prospects book meetings directly from Valley messages.
Where to Set It
You need to add your booking link in two places:
Profile Settings: Go to Settings and add your scheduling link before launching any campaign
Each Product in Studio: Add the booking link to each product you create in Studio
Both need to be set. The profile-level link is your default, and the product-level link ensures the right booking URL is used for each product/service you're selling.
How Valley Uses Your Link
Your scheduling link appears in messages based on your Writing Style configuration. You tell Valley which message in your sequence should include the booking link (first message, follow-up, etc.) through your Writing Style DOs and DON'Ts.
When to Include the Booking Link
The principle: don't put the booking link in your first outreach message. Pushing a booking link before the prospect is convinced feels premature and reduces response rates.
First Message: Focus purely on relevance and value. No scheduling link. Goal: get a reply that shows interest.
Second Message / Follow-up: After they reply positively, include your scheduling link. They're warm - now let them book.
Configure your Writing Style to include the booking link in follow-up messages, not the initial outreach. Add a DO like "Include booking link in follow-up messages after prospect shows interest" and a DON'T like "Don't include booking link in first outreach message."
Exception: Slow Response Teams
If your team can't respond to replies within hours (timezone gaps, limited bandwidth), consider including the link in the first message. You'll get fewer interested replies, but you won't lose prospects to slow follow-up.
The trade-off: lower interested reply rate, but you capture bookings even when you're offline.
For highest overall conversion, keep the link out of the first message. The first message must overcome skepticism - adding a scheduling link signals you're selling, not solving. The second message is when trust is established and the link feels natural.
