Understanding Your Dashboard
Understanding Your Dashboard
Overview
Your Valley dashboard is mission control. It shows campaign performance, messages sent, replies received, and the metrics that tell you whether your outreach is working.
What's on the Dashboard
Campaign Activity
A snapshot of what's happening across your campaigns:
Messages sent today
Replies received
New interested prospects
Pending approvals waiting for your review
Campaign Performance
Go to Dashboard > Campaigns to see metrics for each campaign:
Total messages sent
Accept rate (connection requests accepted)
Reply rate (percentage of messages getting responses)
Your inbox has reply categorization (Interested, Might Be Interested, Not Interested)
You can drill into individual campaigns to see which prospects are engaged and which messaging approaches are resonating.
Export
You can export campaign data for further analysis in spreadsheets or your CRM.
Key Metrics to Monitor
Reply Rate - Percentage of messages that get a response. Your leading indicator of whether messaging is working.
Accept Rate - Percentage of connection requests accepted. Tells you whether your ICP targeting is right and whether prospects find your profile credible.
Interested Replies - Count of prospects showing genuine interest. This is what feeds your pipeline.
Meeting Scheduled - Track meetings manually using the Meeting Scheduled tag when a prospect books. This is your ultimate success metric.
Valley doesn't automatically track meetings booked. When a prospect books a meeting, apply the Meeting Scheduled tag to track it. This is manual but gives you an accurate count of conversions.
Benchmarks
Reply Rate by List Type
Warm lists (Profile Viewers, Post Engagers, Profile Followers): 15-30% reply rate
Cold/imported lists (SalesNav, CSV): 5-15% reply rate
If your warm list campaigns are below 15% or cold campaigns are below 5%, something needs adjusting.
Accept Rate
Warm lists: 25-40%
Cold lists: 15-30%
Interested Rate
Roughly 2% of all messages sent result in an Interested reply on average. This varies by ICP quality and message personalization.
Interested Replies to Meetings
Roughly 30%+ of interested replies should convert to booked meetings. If your interested rate is healthy but meetings aren't booking, your follow-up process needs work - not your Valley setup.
Monthly Expectations
These assume active campaigns running within LinkedIn's monthly limits (~500 connection requests/month, ~100 InMails standard, 500-800 InMails with Sales Nav Advanced):
Month 1: Building pipeline. Campaigns launching, warm lists feeding daily. Target: ~10 interested replies. You're learning what works.
Month 2: Campaigns optimized based on Month 1 data. Writing style refined. ICP tightened. Interested reply volume should be growing.
Month 3: System is running. You know which warm lists, ICPs, and messaging approaches perform best. Scale what works, cut what doesn't.
Focus on interested replies and meetings booked. 500 well-targeted messages that generate 10 interested replies and 3 meetings beat 2,000 poorly targeted messages that generate noise. HOWEVER, you need messaging volume regardless! Progress beats perfect!
How to Use Metrics to Optimize
Low reply rate (under 5% cold, under 15% warm)? Revisit your product definition in Studio. Make it more specific. Check your ICP - are you targeting the right people? Review your writing style DOs and DON'Ts.
Lots of Not Interested replies? Your targeting may be off. Tighten your ICP. Make sure your warm lists are pointed at relevant influencers (Post Engagers) and your imported lists are well-filtered.
Good reply rate but few meetings? Your follow-up might be weak. When prospects reply with interest, respond quickly with a clear next step (calendar link, specific time suggestion). Speed matters - respond the same day.
InMail subject lines not working? InMails include a subject line. Test different approaches: question-based subjects, name-drop subjects, or direct value prop subjects. Keep them short.
Daily Dashboard Routine
Check Inbox for new replies (Interested and Might Be Interested first)
Handle any pending Approvals

Apply Meeting Scheduled tags as meetings book
This should take 5-10 minutes. Do it daily - not weekly. Warm signals go cold fast and prospects expect quick responses.
Reply rate is a leading indicator. Meetings booked is the real metric. Always optimize toward bookings, not just reply volume.
