Your 30-Day Success Roadmap
From signup to full activation. Here's what to do each week.
Days 1-3: Foundation Setup
Connect LinkedIn
Sign up at joinvalley.co
Install the Valley Chrome extension
Click "Connect LinkedIn" in the extension
Wait a few minutes, then confirm "Stable Connection" status in Valley
Use a dedicated Chrome profile for each LinkedIn account. This prevents auth conflicts and keeps your accounts separate.
Configure Studio
Define your Product: What you sell, specific value props, real pain points, concrete proof points.
Create your Writing Style: Set your DOs and DON'Ts, enable research agents, configure tone.
Define your ICP: Job titles, company size, industry, seniority level.
Click Save after each section. Studio does not auto-save.
Set Up Warm Lists
Go to Warm Lists > Profile Viewers > Start Capturing
Go to Warm Lists > Post Engagers > Add 3-5 influencer or competitor LinkedIn URLs > Start Fetching
Go to Warm Lists > Profile Followers > Start Capturing
Select your Product for ICP scoring on each warm list
Wait 5 minutes, then verify data is loading
Warm lists get 4x the reply rate of cold outreach. Set them up on Day 1.
Upload Your DNC List
Before launching any campaign, upload your existing customers, employees, and competitors to Settings > Do Not Contact.
Day 3 Goal: Studio fully configured and saved. Warm lists capturing. DNC list uploaded. Ready to launch.
Days 4-7: First Campaigns
Create Warm List Campaigns
For each warm list (Profile Viewers, Post Engagers, Profile Followers):
Click "Create High ICP Fit Campaign"
In Reachout via, click Both to include Messaging and InMail in the same campaign
Set daily limits
Turn Autopilot on in campaign settings
Enter Training Mode & Launching Campaigns, review messages, give 2-3 rounds of feedback
Click Launch
Valley routes closed profiles to Messaging and open profiles to InMail automatically, so one campaign covers both channels for each list.
Optional: Import a Cold List
If you have a SalesNav URL or CSV list, create campaigns from those too:
Create one campaign from the list
Set Reachout via to Both
After launching, delete Low ICP Fits
LinkedIn's monthly limits still apply. Valley's daily campaign limits control pacing within those caps.
Day 7 Goal: Warm list campaigns running on Autopilot. First messages going out. Optional cold list campaigns launched with low fits removed.
Days 8-14: Optimization
Daily Routine (5 minutes)
Check Inbox for new replies
Review Approvals if Autopilot is off for any campaign
Respond to Interested and Might Be Interested replies quickly
Review Early Results
Replies typically start arriving around days 8-10.
Refine If Needed
If reply rates are low, revisit your product definition in Studio
If the wrong prospects are replying, tighten your ICP
If messages sound off, update your Writing Style DOs and DON'Ts
Studio changes don't automatically apply to live campaigns. After updating Studio, apply changes to your running campaigns.
Day 14 Goal: Daily routine established. First replies coming in.
Days 15-30: Scale
Monitor Performance
Key metrics in Dashboard > Campaigns:
Accept Rate: 25-40% healthy for warm, 15-30% for cold
Reply Rate: 15-30% healthy for warm, 5-15% for cold
Interested Rate: ~2% average
Optimize Based on Data
Double down on what's working
Pause or adjust underperforming campaigns
Refresh your SalesNav search lists if using imported lists
Expand
Add more influencers to Post Engagers if volume is low
Try new SalesNav searches targeting adjacent ICPs
Consider adding profile followers if you haven't already
Day 30 Goal: Campaigns running smoothly on Autopilot. Warm lists feeding fresh prospects daily.
Realistic Expectations
Week | What's Happening | What to Expect |
|---|---|---|
1 | Setup and configuration | No messages sent yet |
2 | First campaigns launch | First 50-100 messages out, few replies |
3 | Volume building, replies starting | Reply patterns emerging, ICP refinement |
4 | Full velocity, optimization | Meetings booking |
Warm list campaigns will outperform cold significantly. Your actual results depend on your ICP, product-market fit, and message quality.
