Update a campaign sequence and regenerate unsent messages
Campaign admins can now edit the main sequence for a launched campaign and regenerate messages that have not been sent yet, without affecting approved, scheduled, or already-sent outreach.
What you can change
You can update timing, add or remove follow-ups, and edit sequence content for the main campaign sequence. These changes apply to the campaign going forward.
Edit the sequence
Open the campaign.
Go to Campaign Settings > Sequence.
Make your changes in the sequence editor.
Click Save sequence in the tab header.
Regenerate unsent messages
After saving, Valley shows a confirmation dialog. Review the details, then confirm to regenerate any messages that have not been sent yet.
Approved, scheduled, and sent messages are left unchanged. Only unsent messages are regenerated.
Apply template changes across linked campaigns
If your campaign is linked to a shared template, updating the template prompts you to regenerate pending approval messages for all linked campaigns. You can choose which campaigns to update.
What you cannot change after launch
Messages that have already been sent to a prospect.
Messages that are already approved or scheduled for sending.
If you need to change already-approved messages, unapprove them first, then regenerate.
If you're unsure whether a message has already been sent, check the prospect timeline before saving the sequence.
