Sync your Do Not Contact list from Salesforce
Workspace admins can sync Valley's Do Not Contact list from Salesforce, or another outside system, through the public API. Your system sends Valley a record when someone should be blocked, and sends a removal with the same record ID when the block no longer applies. The sync requires an admin API key for your workspace.
Before you start: get an admin API key
The sync runs through Valley's public API, so you need an admin API key for your workspace. API Setup explains how keys work, where to generate one, and the authentication header and base URL every request uses. For request details, use the full interactive documentation at https://api.joinvalley.co/docs.
What adding a record does
Each record you send blocks the matching person by email, company domain, or LinkedIn URL and halts their active campaigns immediately. A block based on a company domain applies company-wide, so it covers everyone at that company, not just one person.
Set up the sync
Create or use an admin API key for your workspace. API Setup covers generating and rotating keys.
Set up your Salesforce Flow, or your other outside system, to send Valley a record when someone should be blocked.
Include the person's email, company domain, or LinkedIn profile URL in the record, depending on how you want them matched.
When the block no longer applies, send a removal with the same outside record ID.
The API documentation lists the exact endpoint paths, request fields, and example payloads.
What removing a record does
Removing a record reverses only the blocks that were created for that outside record. Any separate opt-outs or manual blocks for the same person stay in place.
If a record is refused
Valley refuses a record when its values don't validate. Review the rejected values, correct them, and send the record again.
Manage the list inside Valley
You can also view and edit the Do Not Contact list directly in the app. Do Not Contact List covers the in-app ways to add and remove people, and what the list blocks.
