What plays are
A play is a ready-to-run outreach playbook. You pick a starting signal, review the plan, and Valley finds, qualifies, researches, and messages the people the signal points at.
The play library
The library holds 58 plays across five categories: The basics, Content & social signals, Buying signals, Your lists & network, and Press, investors & advisors. Every play runs on LinkedIn. The play catalog lists every play with what it does and how often it refreshes.
How often a play runs
Each play carries a cadence: some run daily, some refill daily, weekly, or monthly, some are one-time, and the Clay table play syncs live.
What a launched play produces
Launching a play creates campaigns for your review before anything sends. Plays support the same options as campaigns you build from scratch:
Channels. A play can launch a Connect + InMail campaign: open profiles with premium get an InMail, everyone else gets a connection request.
Templates. A play can run on one of your sequence templates, so the play finds the people and your template writes the messages. Re-engagement and InMail-only campaign types do not support templates. See Use a template with a play-based campaign.
Warm networks. Plays for people you are already connected to start with a message-first sequence instead of a connection request.
Teams. Managers can launch a play for any of their teammates.
