Understanding Your Inbox
Overview
Your Valley inbox is where all prospect conversations live. It's the hub of your outreach - where you see replies, manage responses, approve messages, and track what's been sent.
Replies sync from LinkedIn every 2 hours. There may be a short delay between when a prospect replies on LinkedIn and when it appears in your Valley inbox.
The Five Tabs
1. Inbox
Your main message feed. All new messages from prospects show up here - replies to your outreach and incoming engagement.
Valley auto-categorizes every reply into one of three types:
Interested - Prospect expressed enthusiasm, asked a question, or wants to learn more
Might Be Interested - Prospect is neutral, asking questions, or hasn't committed but didn't say no
Not Interested - Prospect declined, said they're not a fit, or asked to stop receiving messages
Valley drafts follow-up responses for Interested and Might Be Interested replies automatically.
2. Approvals
Messages waiting for your review before sending. This includes both outbound messages (when Autopilot is OFF) and AI-drafted responses to prospect replies.
For outbound messages, you can approve in bulk. For responses, review and approve one at a time. Decline messages using the red Stop Outreach button (trash can icon).
3. Scheduled
Messages and follow-ups queued to go out. This shows what's lined up to send, including first touches, follow-ups, and re-engagement messages.
You can see send dates and times. Messages here have been approved and are waiting for the sending window.
4. Sent
Complete record of every message sent. Use this to verify what went out, reference past conversations, and check message quality.
5. Archived
Completed or closed conversations. Once a prospect converts to a meeting, stops replying, or you manually archive them, they live here for reference.
Auto-Categorization
Valley reads incoming replies and labels them automatically:
Interested - Reply with AI draft, schedule a meeting, or send your booking link
Might Be Interested - Reply with AI draft, nurture the conversation, provide more value
Not Interested - Respect their choice, consider applying Stop Outreach
Focus on Interested and Might Be Interested replies first. These are your highest-priority conversations.
Search and Filtering
Search by prospect name to find specific conversations
Filter by category (Interested, Might Be Interested, Not Interested)
Sort by date received or by campaign
Admin View
If you're managing multiple LinkedIn accounts in a workspace, Admin View lets you see inbox activity across all connected accounts. You can monitor reply volume, check approval queues, and manage campaigns across your entire team from one place.
Daily Inbox Routine
Check Inbox first (2-3 minutes) - Review new replies, especially Interested and Might Be Interested
Handle Approvals - Review and approve AI-drafted responses, approve pending outbound messages
Quick scan of Scheduled - Make sure everything looks right
Archive completed conversations - Keep your inbox clean
Treat interested replies like inbound leads. The faster you respond, the higher your conversion rate. Don't let replies sit for days.
