What are sending limits for Connects and InMails
LinkedIn enforces daily and monthly sending limits to protect account health. Staying within these limits keeps your outreach safe and consistent.
Connection Request Limits
LinkedIn allows around 100 to 200 connection requests per week, which breaks down to roughly 20 to 50 per day across all accounts. We recommend staying within this range to maintain account safety.
InMail Limits
LinkedIn recently changed how InMail limits work. Here's the current breakdown:
Open Profile InMails
Open Profile InMails are free and don't use credits. LinkedIn caps them at around 100 sends per month. This cap can replenish as prospects accept or reply to your InMail, allowing you to continue sending beyond the initial 100 over time.
Cap your sends at 15 to 20 InMails per day so you don't hit the 100 limit too quickly.
Closed Profile InMails
Closed Profile InMails are limited to 50 per month, and these credits roll over if unused.
Sales Navigator Advanced
If you're using Sales Navigator Advanced, you'll have more InMail credits available and a higher cap limit for Open Profiles.
Previously, LinkedIn allowed around 800+ InMails per month to open profiles. The current limit is approximately 100 per month.
